OPGI 2020 Classic Car Show Postponed

With 'stay at home' orders still in place, Original Parts Group has made the decision to postpone its Classic Car Show. The show has been tentatively rescheduled for September 12th, but with all of the uncertainty, this date is subject to change. (more…)

OPGI at GNRS 2020

This year was the Grand National Roadster Show's 71st year and Original Parts Group Inc. was pleased to be in attendance. The event moved south from Oakland 16 years ago to the Pomona Fairplex and is now the destination where hundreds of registered show cars are on display each year. (more…)

Peter Barwick’s Pontiac 2+2 Catalina Convertible

Earlier this month Peter Barwick stopped by the OPGI showroom to pick up a convertible slide rail for his Pontiac. After speaking with Peter we came to find out that this vehicle was one of one, made special for a GM executive and originally finished in a 1965 Cadillac color! (more…)

The GTO Returns

Earlier this month Original Parts Groups ‘66 GTO made a safe and sound return from Franklin, Tennessee where it was being worked on and filmed over a few episodes of Powernation TV’s Detroit Muscle.  Marc and Tommy handled a little bit of exterior and some interior as well as the installation of the convertible top with some assistance from Mac McDonald of Wyotech. Behind the Scenes of OPGI’s Cadillac Commercial

Earlier this year OPGI’s Marketing Team met with some late-model Cadillac owners. We invited 5 people to have their Cadillac’s photographed for use in our upcoming Late Model Cadillac parts catalog (CTS, ATS, STS, XLR, and Escalades) as well as a chance to appear in our commercial for our extended product line. Those 5 Cadillac’s quickly turned into over 20 and they all cruised into the lot simultaneously. (more…)
